Reprisal is a concept product line of guitar accessories. Created for a Package Design course, this project mandated I conceptualize a consumer product while adhering to three creative limitations:
As an amateur musician, I was interested in an existing product that I had recently become obsessed with: the pick punch. So, with that as the flagship item, I decided on a line of items where the packaging would be assembled with recycled PVC plastic. The idea being to utilize the pick punch to further deconstruct the packaging, and repurpose the recycled PVC into guitar picks! While this doesn't eliminate or offset the massive amount of PVC waste we generate, it does provide an additional layer of utility for this overproduced material.
