Oak Street Health Rack Card Program

Project Summary

Provider marketing materials are an important resource for Oak Street Health. By using a centralized dataset, creating an output with a consistent presentation and compliant messaging becomes easier for small creative teams.

Challenge

Oak Street Health utilizes provider-focused marketing materials to highlight biographical information about various care team members. However, as Oak Street Health continued to grow, provider onboarding and turnover would do so, as well. This created a heavy lift for individual contributors on the design team to manage inbound create/change requests through the existing form process.

Solution

The Rack Card product was redesigned using text box resizing and anchored elements to allow items to move up and down the page as necessary in order to maintain an acceptable output. Additionally, the form request process was eliminated, and instead the Oak Street Health website - using information verified by credentialing teams - would serve as the "source-of-truth" for all print provider marketing materials. This change in process allowed headshot imagery, biographical data, and onboarding/turnover related updates to cascade through all impacted tools with a single change to the website listings.
